We are looking for analysts who can combine quantitative modelling with structured reasoning about real-world policy systems.
Candidates should be able to work with complex datasets, develop models that capture system behaviour, and interpret results in ways that inform clear analytical judgments.
Candidates should be able to:
- Work comfortably with large or messy datasets and structure them for analysis
- Build and implement statistical or computational models using Python or R
- Apply methods such as econometrics, causal inference, or machine learning where appropriate
- Frame real-world policy problems in ways that can be meaningfully modeled
- Interpret model outputs critically and identify where models succeed or break down
- Communicate analytical findings clearly in writing
Strong candidates will likely have:
- Graduate training in data science, quantitative social science, economics, statistics, or public policy
- Experience conducting empirical analysis or research using real-world data
- Familiarity with modelling complex systems involving institutions, incentives, or human behaviour
